Persistent Living Solutions, Inc. is a nonprofit providing structured, affordable homes for seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and adults on fixed income.

We specialize in safe, stable homes where residents can regain independence, feel supported, and live with dignity. Our shared and private housing options are designed for individuals who cannot afford housing alone but want a respectful, community-based place to call home. We match each resident to the right home based on their needs, personality, temperament, and support preferences.

We proudly serve adults 55+ who receive SSI, SSDI, Social Security retirement, VA benefits, or other fixed income sources.

We provide affordable, structured housing for veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and returning citizens, offering more than just a place to stay—we provide guidance, support, and a foundation for independence.

Our homes are designed to promote privacy, comfort, and a sense of community. Through our partnership with Persistent Home Care, residents have access to non-medical assistance, wellness monitoring, transportation support, and connections to essential services. We serve adults 55 and older (some exceptions for 50+ depending on disability or caseworker referral).

Who is eligible to live at PLS Housing?

Adults on SSI/SSDI or fixed income, including veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and returning citizens, who need affordable housing with non-medical support may qualify. Basic eligibility includes income verification, ability to live safely in a shared setting, and willingness to follow house guidelines.

What type of support do residents receive?n #2

Residents receive non-medical support such as daily living assistance (through our home care partner), medication reminders, transportation help, wellness monitoring, and support with community and social service connections.

Is PLS Housing a nursing home or medical facility?

No. PLS Housing is not a nursing home, group home, or medical facility. We provide supportive residential housing, not skilled nursing care. However, residents may receive attendant care, waiver services, or home care through our partnered agency if eligible.

How can case managers, VA staff, or social workers make a referral?

Referrals can be submitted directly through our online Referral Form or by contacting our team via email or phone. We collaborate with hospitals, VA programs, re-entry services, and case managers to help place clients quickly and safely.

What is included in the housing cost?

Housing includes a furnished private or shared room, utilities, housekeeping, Wi-Fi, community living spaces, medication reminders, support coordination, and access to partner services. Meals and attendant care may be available through separate programs.
